As part of a major office relocation around the town hall, Adamson Construction was contracted to undertake the removal of partitions and lighting in the existing office and to rebuild the partitioning in the relocated offices.
Adamson Construction had to ensure the coordination of the work to allow the Town Hall to continue to function for the duration of the project.
The work was carried out to the agreed office moves throughout both the town hall and satellite office locations. Project-related works included carpentry to doors, decoration to partitions, carpeting and vinyl to offices and floors, all of which were to be completed to offices which were to remain occupied.
Works were completed keeping areas free for continued office usage, clearing, cleaning and handing over to a rolling programme of implementation, coordinating with other subcontractors to tight deadlines and cooperating with the facilities department for all the works during the month’s contract.
