Adamson Construction was contracted to install a new floor in a factory. The first task was to remove some old concrete plinths which had supported some plant and then relay the sub base. Finally, the floor needed to be levelled and the Flowcrete Mondeco floor finish installed.
The old sub-bases had some frame work which had to be removed completely. Once this frame work was removed the levels in the sub-base could be calculated and it was apparent that there were severe level discrepancies. Due to these discrepancies, the client allowed more time for this project, however, we still managed to finish the job in the original allocated time.
The larger foundations were in-filled with concrete and the rest was prepared with a 50mm to 75mm screed build up. Flowcrete industrial top was then used to level the area 9mm below the finished floor level.
When the sub-base was ready it was primed and the Flowcrete Mondeco epoxy flooring was laid.
