Summary of job role:
As Commercial Director, my core responsibilities are to ensure cohesion between our Marketing, Sales and Estimating departments. Working alongside the Department Heads, I have to make sure that there is a consistent pipeline of work being generated for the Production Departments.

Alongside the other members of the leadership team, we will aim to provide a clear strategy to push the company forward toward our long-term goals.
From qualifying potential clients and generating enquiries, through to the pricing, quoting and the winning of work, I need to make sure that we are putting ourselves in the best possible position for our teams to deliver our projects on time, on budget and to the client’s satisfaction.
Alongside this, I am also taking on overall responsibility for our procurement and facilities teams and therefore the office, warehouse, stock materials, logistics, all company vehicles and other assets.

Key disciplines:
Understanding the clients’ requirements.
Researching materials, equipment and labour costs.
Gathering quotes from sub-contractors and suppliers.
Preparing and submitting quotations for work.
Monitoring the stages of a project to make sure that costs are kept in line with forecasts.
